          My journey to becoming a postpartum doula was born out of my own intense experience as a new mother. Like many, I entered motherhood with a heart full of love and a head full of expectations. But the reality was far more challenging than I could have ever imagined. My little one struggled with colic and sleeplessness, leaving me feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and utterly lost. The days were a blur of endless crying, sleepless nights, and a constant feeling of inadequacy. I was desperate for support, for someone to tell me that what I was experiencing was normal, that I wasn't failing as a mother.

Through that challenging time, I found solace in educating myself on how to best support my child and survive the challenges I was being faced with. Slowly, I began to navigate the pitfalls, learn new coping strategies, and find joy amidst the chaos.

          I have a passion for all things related to babies and birth has always been strong, but it was my own struggles that ignited a deep desire to support other mothers. I wanted to offer the kind of guidance and reassurance that I so desperately craved during those early days. I eventually became a doula newborn care specialist and sleep consultant to provide families with the tools, resources, and unwavering support they need to navigate the complexities of new parenthood.  I fell in love with the birth world and also got certified as a birth doula so I could be a gentle support for births as well.  

My experience has taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and non-judgmental support for clients of all walks of life. I believe every birthing parent and their support person deserves to feel empowered and confident in their journey. I am dedicated to helping families thrive during their precious births - not only of their baby,  but of themselves as well during the postpartum period.

Now, as a highly experienced, certified birth and postpartum doula, newborn care and sleep specialist, I offer a unique and invaluable blend of support and education for your growing family! My training encompasses birth doula services, postpartum doula care, specialized newborn care, CPR, and gentle sleep training education.

         I take an approach is deeply rooted in empathy and a genuine  understanding of the physical and emotional landscape of new parenthood. I pride myself on my ability to intuitively connect with families, discerning their individual needs and preferences as a new parent.  Whether it's offering a comforting presence during labor, providing hands-on support with newborn care, or gently guiding you in establishing healthy sleep habits, my support is always tailored and responsive.
